€10.5 million (£8.9 million) for the midfielder's long-term contract

 According to Globo Esporte, Manchester United will authorize Andreas Pereira's permanent transfer to Flamengo on Friday. Last summer, the 26-year-old was loaned to the Brazilian heavyweights. From his 24 appearances, he has five goals and an assist.

The club's management began negotiations with United about a permanent move earlier this week, and an agreement has now been reached.

The Serie A club will pay €10.5 million (£8.9 million) for the midfielder's long-term contract. A 25% sell-on provision will be included in the agreement.

Flamengo will settle the fee in instalments until 2024. Pereira will sign a long-term contract until December 2026 while the transfer window is still open.
